Coach Dinosaur Chess Course
Choose Your Course Level
Follow the three course levels in order, then use the endgame studies and setup guide as supporting material. Each level page contains its own module roadmap, so this hub remains useful instead of becoming a second, badly maintained copy of every syllabus.
Recommended course path
Start with the rules and basic mates, continue into tactics and practical draw technique, then move into disciplined calculation and intermediate positional play.
Pawn Level
Board knowledge, notation, piece movement, check and checkmate, basic mating technique, castling, and en passant.
Open Pawn Level → Level 2Advanced Pawn / Pawn Plus
Mating patterns, tactics, draw rules, pawn structure, chess etiquette, blunder prevention, and thirteen classic opening-trap families.
Open Advanced Pawn → Level 3Bishop Level
Thinking principles, technical checkmates, weaknesses, tactical exchanges, positional planning, resilient defense, structured calculation, and a complete over-the-board calculation process.
Open Bishop Level →Suggested order: complete Pawn Level first, use Advanced Pawn as the transition course, then begin Bishop Level. Students may revisit earlier modules whenever a weakness appears, which is considerably more sensible than pretending learning only moves forward.

Student resources
Practical setup material kept separate from the chess curriculum so students can find it without digging through tactical lessons.
